As a team, we’ve spent much time in the Philippines and developed a deep passion for helping children in need. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when this passion began, but it’s become a central purpose in our work.
We’ve always had a soft spot for kids, and our time in the Philippines has only strengthened this love. Despite our challenges and heartbreak, we find joy in the moments spent with these resilient children.
It’s heartwarming to see how they continue to find happiness and laughter despite hardship. We often reflect on our childhoods and find more similarities with these Filipino children than with kids today who are glued to screens all day.
But as much as we cherish these moments, we also recognize many children’s challenges and struggles. It breaks our hearts to see children who are never given a chance and lack the love, compassion, and support they need to thrive.
That’s why, five years ago, we started a tradition of helping underprivileged kids during Christmas. We provide much-needed school supplies and sports equipment; seeing the children’s faces light up joyfully makes it all worth it.
We also support The Lingap Center, an incredible organization that provides a haven for Filipino children who have experienced abuse, exploitation, or abandonment. The center offers these children hope for a brighter future, giving them a place to live and learn and, most importantly, love and compassion.
As a team, we’re grateful to be part of a community that supports our efforts to help these exceptional children. Every purchase made during December goes directly towards this vital cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these children who deserve so much love and support.
